Provide command and control, force protection, administration, and logistical support for personnel receiving training and education while assigned to the US Army Mechanical Maintenance School/61st Ordnance Brigade.

USAOMMS conducts military skills training for 11 Military Occupational Specialties; Professional Education for Noncommissioned Officers; Warrant Officer training and skill training for basic and advanced course Ordnance Officers. OMMS also operates the School for Military Packaging; providing training on Hazardous Material packaging.
